Cosmetic Dentistry
Is For Everyone!

Crowns are permanent caps shaped like a tooth that are permanently cemented on top of the real tooth. They solve a variety of teeth issues. They will protect a weak tooth from rotting. They will also hold a cracked tooth together and prevent a tooth from breaking. Cosmetically, they are often installed to cover up chipped or discolored teeth.
To install a crown properly, your dentist will grind down your existing tooth until it looks like the top of a round peg. He or she will then cement your new crown into place. It will fully cover the visible portion of your tooth, from its gum line and above.
Crowns can be made from a variety of materials. Depending on the crowns location inside your mouth, your dentist will recommend the appropriate type of crown material for your situation. A few of the types of materials that are used to make crowns are: metal, resin, porcelain fused to metal, and ceramic. - edit done
